I am a software developer with an interest in exploring how new forms of computing can enhance our abilities as humans and give us superpowers that we've previously only seen in science fiction. Outside of tech, I also like to travel, try new cuisines, and play the piano. Note that this site is still under construction, so feel free to check back in the coming weeks for new updates!
Augmented reality will transform the world we see, bringing information and 3D holograms right before our eyes. New input methods, like haptics, hand/eye tracking, and voice control, will allow us to interact naturally with this new world.
AI gives machines human-like capabilities, like understanding our speech with NLP/LLMs and our physical world with computer vision. AI can also learn from big data and empower us to make better decisions.
Neural interfaces, such as brain-computer interfaces (BCIs), will allow us to control machines, access the Internet, and communicate with others using just our thoughts.
With new everyday items coming online everyday, IoT will allow us to better monitor and automate systems in our environment, enabling smart cities, robotics, and self-driving cars.
The next evolution of the Internet is the glue that will connect all of these emerging technologies together across both physical and digital layers in a location-aware and distributed manner.
